The aim of the course: The aim of the Night Rating Course is to train holders of a pilot license issued in accordance with ICAO
The aim of the MEP (A) flying training course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to operate single pilot multi engine aeroplanes.
The applicant must be a holder of a private pilot licence.
An applicant for a class rating for a single pilot multi-engine aeroplane shall have completed at least 70 hours as pilot-in-command of aeroplanes.
The flight training course for a single-pilot multi-engine class or type rating shall include at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of dual flight instruction under normal conditions of multi-engine aeroplane operations, and not less than 3 hours 30 minutes of dual flight instruction in engine failure procedures and asymmetric flight techniques.
